Dear
Friend:
If
you’re like most people, you don’t spend a lot of time thinking
about stuff like this. No one (including me!) likes to think
about death. But ask yourself this question: If you unexpectedly
die tomorrow:
- What would your family
do?
- Do they know your
final wishes?
- Do they know who to
contact about your financial matters?
- Do they know your
complete family history?
If
the answer to any of those questions is “no”, think about
the effect that might have one day on your loved ones.
Planning is Important…And
Here’s Why
Most
people don’t think about the importance of protecting their
loved ones. But you need to. Did you know that...
If you don’t plan properly,
you might leave your family out in the cold?
If you don’t
protect your assets, the government could take up to
10% (or more) through probate court and estate
taxes?
If you don’t make preparations now, your children could spend months, or even years, trying to put things
together?
If you
act now, you can prevent these things from happening and give your
family peace of mind.

I
know everything you’ve read so far seems like some kind of
scare tactic or guilt trip designed to pull you in. I understand
that no one wants to believe that any of these things will
happen.
And
I recognize that this isn’t the kind of thing that you want
to think about. I know I don’t.
I
know all that..., and yet, I also know the TRUTH about what
lack of planning can do at a time when your loved ones need
you most. How?
My Name is Brian Bartes,
and I’m a Legacy and
Estate Planning Professional
I
haven’t always been well-versed in the area of legacy and
estate planning. Not too long ago, I was just like you: Thinking
about how to carve out the best life I could for me and my
family. Enjoying life, without a thought about the possibility
of dying...or losing someone close to me.
Then
the next 14 months of my life changed everything...
First,
my wife’s grandfather passed away. He was an elderly man,
and had lived a wonderful life. His death wasn’t unexpected
and, if that was the only thing that happened, you probably
wouldn’t be reading this letter right now.
Then,
my grandmother (“Nana”) died. She wasn’t quite as old,
but had health problems the last several years of her life.
Again, most of us have experienced the death of elderly relatives.
Then
Kodey died, and the way I view life (and death) will never
be the same again. Kodey was a good friend of my son Andy...and
was only 11. He was a healthy child during those 11 years,
until the virus swept in and ended his life very quickly.
He had barely begun life, and then it was over.
How Can You Prepare
for This?
You
can imagine the effect Kodey’s death had on his family, his
young classmates, and anyone who knew him. It was devastating.
For me, it was a bold reminder of the frailty of life. Not
just that my life could end any time, but that the
possibility exists for everyone...including children.
I
have four young children, and I began to think more than ever
about estate and legacy planning.
But
the story doesn’t end there....
Kevin
was just 42 years old when he died of a heart attack. He was
in the prime of his life: Happily married, the father of two
small children, a successful banker. My guess is that, when
he left that weekend to go to his friend’s cottage, he may
have been very casual in saying goodbye to his wife and children.
Surely, the thought of not returning didn’t enter his mind.
But
he didn’t return, and if Kodey’s death wasn’t enough of a
“wake-up call”, Kevin’s was. Of all the deaths that I would
be exposed to during this time, this was the one that caused
me to ponder the most. About my family. About how I invest
my time during the days, weeks, months and years. About what’s
really important. And about what would happen if I
didn’t make it home for dinner.
We
had two other friends who also passed away.
Marcia
was 40 when she finally lost her battle with cancer. She,
too, was happily married. She had a young son, and she had
grown very close to her family through this trying ordeal.
Ruthie
battled breast cancer for seven years, and was determined
to beat it. She was also married, and had two young children.
Her death was the hardest for my wife, because they had grown
up living across the street from each other, and had been
best friends for almost 40 years.
I
hope you haven’t experienced anything like what I did during
that time. But I also hope you realize that you won’t be around
forever. In case we’re not around next year, or next month,
or tomorrow...it’s important to plan for that possibility.
Have You Prepared Your Family for When the “Unexpected”
Happens to You?
If
you’ve begun preparations, perhaps you've created a will.
By now, it may or may not be up to date. Depending on how
long ago you created it, you probably need to revisit it.
As you think about that, you may wonder...
...Is
there more I should do?
- This is the most common
question I hear.
- These people are asking
the right question.
- My response is always
YES.
If
you’re asking yourself:
- “How will I know that
I’ve made all the preparations?”
- “Who will walk me
through the process?”
- “How do I know what
information to collect?”
- “Is there a single
guide to help me plan my estate for my children?”
You
are asking the right questions.
And
the good news is, there is a way to prepare all of
the essential information. There is help to walk you step-by-step
through the process. YES, there is a single guide that
can help you in a straight-to-the-point, eliminate-the-confusion
way. And you don’t have to hire an attorney to do it.
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones is a simple, easy-to-use
tool that turns the overwhelming process of organizing your
estate into a complete and comprehensive record of all your
final wishes.
|
"I Hadn’t Even
Thought of That!"
Peace
of Mind For You and Your Loved Ones is
an invaluable resource. This book has not only helped
me organize my financial matters in a logical and detailed
manner, it also made me think of things I had not even
considered. The workbook format is ideal, easy to complete
and easy to update. More importantly, if my family
ever has to go through the process of settling my estate,
Peace of Mind will make a difficult time much
easier for them. I highly recommend this book not only
for parents and grandparents, but this book would make
an excellent gift for a recent college graduate or a
newly married couple. Peace of Mind For You and
Your Loved Ones is not only a comprehensive estate
planning tool, it’s also a life planning tool!

Get Answers to Your Tough Questions.
Now.
For
the past 11 years, I have been involved with the intricate
details of estate planning. I know firsthand...
- What critical questions
are running through your head.
- What important topics
you need to be aware of, but probably don’t know about.
- What decisions you
need to make to protect your loved ones and your estate.
It’s
tough to ask your family questions to such touchy subjects.
But it’s also hard to know who to trust in the outside world.
In this fast-paced world, it is nice to know you can have
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones.
Do You Have This Information
Prepared for Your Children?
If
you are new to estate planning, you probably don’t even know
where to begin.
For example, do you and your spouse
know:
1.
Each other’s final wishes if one were to pass away unexpectedly?
2. Who to contact
at the time of death?
3. Where each other’s
important personal and financial documents are located?
4. All of the different
insurance agents to contact?
5. Who to contact
about a living trust and living will?
Is all of the information mentioned
above in one convenient location?
It
is a common misconception that if you don’t have a lot of
money or personal belongings, you don’t need to make preparations
for your family. NOT TRUE.
Whether
you have a little money to leave behind, or a lot, you need
to be able to answer “YES” to all five questions above. If
you don’t prepare, your money will disappear!

Learning the Hard
Way
As you recall from my personal story earlier, I had several
people close to me pass away in a relatively short
period of time.
With each passing came the loss of a loved one and the mourning
of the families. But with each passing also came the
confusion, frustration, and anxiety of not knowing
what to do next.
You know how tiresome it is just to handle your own day-to-day
personal and financial matters. Imagine the pressure
of trying to organize someone else’s estate...while
you are grieving.
Unfortunately, it is something that too many of us face...during
the worst time imaginable.
It’s hard to know where to begin...from making funeral arrangements
to contacting insurance agents to locating critical
paperwork. There is just too much to learn
how to do.
But, it doesn’t have to be that way.
You and your spouse can get organized today...making it so
much easier for those you leave behind.
I Want My Family
to Be Prepared,
So I Created a Simple Solution…
Watching
so many close family members and friends struggle
(for years!) over the daunting task of picking up
the pieces...pulling together critical information
for the estate or trust administration process....
It was a real eye-opener for me!
I
thought “How can the dreadful process of estate planning
be made easier? What critical information do people
need to know—before their loved one passes?”
The thought of my own family going
through this was all I needed to take action. I created
Peace of Mind For
You and Your Loved Ones
The Complete Guide To Organizing Your Estate
This
is more than just an informational guide. It is a
complete and thorough workbook. You learn step-by-step
the information you need to gather.
When
you open the notebook, you will notice the organization
of the content. Anyone who needs to use the workbook
will know exactly where to find the information they
need.
The
workbook is contained in a 3-ring binder, so you can
easily add pages if you need to.
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones is organized
into eight chapters, each divided by a labeled tab.
This organization not only helps you know what information
you need to gather, but it helps others find information
easily.
Imagine:
All Your Important Information Will
Be Organized in a Convenient Workbook!
Just
looking through the workbook will give you great comfort
in knowing that your family will be prepared.
All
you have to do is input your information into the
workbook. This is not “nice-to-know” information.
This is “must know” information. In my experience
with estate planning, I know the information presented
in this workbook will save your family valuable time,
money, and frustration.
Some
of the topics covered in the workbook include:
- Final Wishes.
This section is important for your family because it focuses
on their immediate needs in the event of your death.
It lets your loved ones know who needs to be notified.
This section also provides your family with a guide
to help them carry out your final wishes regarding
your funeral or memorial service.
This information is important
for you and your family because your funeral should
reflect your beliefs, standards, lifestyle,
and taste. You may also have a budget you want
to stick to. When family members come together
to make funeral arrangements, different family
members will probably have differing opinions
in the planning. This section eliminates the stress
and confusion for your family in making your arrangements.
- Personal Information.
This section focuses on the personal information of the immediate
family members such as birth citizenship, residence,
profession and more. You can complete this vital
information for each individual in the workbook.
This information is important for your family because as they
move through the difficult grieving process and
begin to adjust to life without you, they’ll take
comfort in knowing that they have all the vital
family information readily available to them.
Whether they are simply interested in keeping
track of family records and relationships for
genealogical purposes, or need personal information
as they move forward with new choices in their
own lives, they can refer to this section to find
the answers they need.
- Health and Medical Information.
This section focuses on important health and medical information
such as health care advisors, current medications,
prior procedures, and medical history.
Your family needs to be aware of your medical history so they
can inform their own doctors of risks that they
may face someday. Having this information on hand
can be an invaluable means of disease prevention
for them. This section also makes it easy for
them to know how to contact your physicians and
other health care providers.
- Household Information.
This is what I like to call the “pick up the pieces” section.
It focuses on your day-to-day household information.
This section includes information about pets,
household service providers, utility companies
and magazine and newspaper subscriptions.
This information is important for your family because these
services don’t end when you pass away.
- Location of Important Documents.
This section is important for your family because it focuses
on the location of all important documents, as
well as keys, passwords and combinations that
your family will need in the event of your death.
In the event of your death, family members will have to gather
items and information quickly so that they can
manage your home and business affairs. By organizing
these items and documents, you will ensure that
they have everything they need to easily take
over these responsibilities.
- Financial Information.
The financial section focuses on your personal and business
financial information. Information contained here
includes professional advisors, bank accounts,
assets and liabilities, income and expenses, business
ownership and intellectual property.
Taking care of your financial responsibilities can place a
tremendous amount of strain on your loved ones.
By organizing and documenting this area of your
life, your heirs will have everything they need
to manage your financial affairs.
- Insurance and Benefits Information.
Insurance and benefits information is important because your
loved ones will need to contact insurance agents
to cancel accounts or transfer ownership in the
event of your passing. Additionally, family members
may be entitled to receive certain benefits such
as life insurance. By having all of your documentation
organized, this will be a much easier process
for them.
- Estate Planning.
The final section contains details of your estate plan, and
lists professionals who need to be contacted.
Your family will need to contact the attorney who handled your
estate planning, as well as others who are affected
by your passing. Also, in the event of a medical
emergency, the need may arise for an attorney-in-fact
or patient advocate to make certain medical decisions
on your behalf. By having all of your documentation
organized, these processes will be handled with
greater efficiency.
(And
this is just a “sneak peak” into the subject areas
covered in Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones.)

Turning My Family Responsibility
Into A Complete Guide For You
After
watching so many people close to me struggle with the daunting
task of “picking up the pieces” after their loved one passed,
I was reminded that it is my responsibility to prepare my
family in the event of my passing.
So,
one day I began to collect all the pertinent information that
my wife or children would need to know immediately. I created
a binder and organized the information into various categories.
This
exercise really opened my eyes to all the “stuff” I have accumulated
in my adult life. And I am not talking about material items
(although that is important too). Rather, I am talking about
everything from personal and business information to health
and financial data to my own final wishes.
During
the process of pulling all this “stuff” together I uncovered
more and more “stuff” that needed to be included in the guide
for my family. This ended up being quite a project! But it
was worth it to protect my family and assets. It took me more
than eight months to figure out everything that should be
included in my own estate plan.
The
good news is, I have done all the “leg work” for you. I have
just saved you months of preparation.
I
have also saved you money. If you were to hire a lawyer to
tell you what information to collect, you would be paying
an hourly rate of around $175...and that’s on the low
end for estate planning attorneys. He or she would be asking
you the exact questions that you can find in Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones.
The Unthinkable Happened:
“My Wife Died Suddenly at Just 33 Years Old” |
My wife
Jennifer and I were very happily married for nine years
when she died very suddenly at just 33 years old. We
had talked about putting an estate plan together—even
some basic information like what insurance policies
we had, who to contact if something happened, and what
kind of memorial service each of us envisioned. I did
have the insurance policy information, but what I didn’t
have were all the particulars involved with her business,
which was booming at the time of her death. We were
young, what could we possibly have to worry about?
When Jen
died, I was literally crushed. What made that horrid,
unthinkable situation worse was not knowing everything
I needed to know (not to mention where to find that
information) in order to make pivotal decisions about
the future of her business…decisions that now affected
my future. All this could have been avoided if only
my dear wife and I had taken the time to do a little
planning. Take Brian’s advice, and take mine: get it
done. Make it clear. Do it now. Not tomorrow. Now.

Don’t Put it Off Any Longer.
Take Action and Make Plans Now.
Why
wait to make such important plans? Plans that will protect
your family and assets after you pass?
I’m
sure you’ve always had the best intentions to do something
like this. But you always think “there’s plenty of time to
make plans later.”
The 3 Most Common Reasons You Probably
Haven’t Made Plans Yet:
1. Death is a hard subject to think about
and talk about.
There is never a “right” time. So you put off talking about
the topic as long as possible.
2.
It’s hard to find and make the time to do the
necessary work. Let’s face it; we don’t have a lot of free
time in our lives anymore. The weeknights are busy with
the kids’ after school activities, helping them with their
homework, or we are working late ourselves. The weekends
are busy running errands, doing household chores, and more
activities. If you do get a free night, you would rather
spend it having fun with your family—not dwelling over paperwork.
3.
You don’t know what information to
be collecting. Most people who attack this sort of project don’t have any idea
where to begin or how to organize the information once they
have it.
I
have talked to hundreds of people about these reasons, so
you are not alone. You can probably think of a dozen more
reasons you haven’t done this yet. But the longer you put
it off, the greater the risk of not protecting your family.
Fortunately,
I have the tool that will help you jump start your planning.
I
wrote this book because I didn’t want to make the mistake
of not protecting my family...
And I don’t want you to make that mistake
either.
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones is a step-by-step
complete guide for organizing your estate. It tells you exactly
what you need to do to protect your family.
You’ve
worked too hard in life and you love your family too
much not to plan in advance.
You
know that it is your responsibility to ensure that your
family is taken care of before...and after...you pass
away.
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones will teach
you how to carefully plan and organize your estate so
your assets go to your family.

Peace Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones
The Complete Guide for Organizing Your Estate TODAY!
To
keep your estate information organized and easy for you to
collect and your family to find, Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones is divided into
eight thorough and complete chapters that will help you know
what information to assemble.
Chapter 1: Final Wishes
The
opening chapter covers everything you need to ensure that
all your final wishes are made clear upon your passing.
You
have probably been involved with planning a funeral for a
loved one. Maybe not directly, but you have probably contributed
in some way. During the planning, you’ve probably thought
about things that you would like for your own funeral. Maybe
there is a certain casket you prefer to be buried in. Or maybe
you don’t even want to be buried, but would rather be cremated.
Perhaps you have some favorite songs that you want to be played
at your memorial service.
This
chapter is your opportunity to state your final wishes. Your
family will appreciate the fact that you’ve removed all the
“guessing” work for them and they can focus on grieving.
This
chapter includes:
- A thorough checklist
for what to do at the time of death
- The people who will
assist in carrying out your wishes.
- The people to notify
in the event of your death.
- People to invite to
your funeral.
- And much, much more...
Planning
a funeral for a family member is hard. First of all, you are
in the grieving process and making such important decisions
is difficult. Second, you want to make the right decisions.
You want to feel good that you are making the right choices—the
choices that your loved one would have made if he or she were
still alive. Third, you want to avoid family disputes during
such an emotional time. Everybody has an opinion.
By
completing Chapter 1 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones you save your
family a lot of time, frustration, and emotional pain.
I always
felt like we had planned properly. We had wills, life
insurance, and an IRA. After we learned that my husband
had lung cancer, we had two years to prepare for his
death. But only after John’s death did I realize the
importance of gathering vital information about personal
and business finances. I learned the hard way—through
litigation and being forced to piece together the information
necessary to close out my husband’s business and estate.
Much of the pain and aggravation could have been avoided
if I had only taken the time to gather some basic information.

Chapter 2: Personal Information
Chapter
2 goes into
great detail about the personal information of the immediate
family members such as birth, citizenship, residence, profession,
and more. It will be very beneficial for your family to have
this important information at the tip of their fingers. This
is the type of information that is good to know for completing
family trees, captioning photos, writing autobiographies,
etc.
How
many times have you thought “I need to create a family tree?”
Or, how many times have you thought how nice it would be to
have all your family information in one location.
This
chapter includes the following information about you and your
relatives:
- Citizenship and passport
information
- A list of your previous
residences
- Naturalization paperwork
- Military paperwork
- Information related
to special awards and recognition
- List of businesses
and community organizations
- And more!
This
chapter provides all the basic information about you and your
immediate and extended family.
Having
generations of family information documented in one location
is extremely valuable. This is the kind of information that
you don’t want to get lost in some old dusty shoe box in a
dark closet. This is information that you or anyone should
be able to find in any given moment. After all, it’s your
life...it’s your family’s history!
|
I started
thinking about an estate organizing system when my husband
and I were going on vacation together—without our three
small children. What if the plane crashed or we had
a car accident and we both died?
Having all
our important information in one place gives me peace
of mind, especially when I’m not with my kids. |
If my
husband and I ever died at the same time the designated
guardian of our children knows to look in our safe,
where she will find any information she might need.
In addition, if anything happened to us individually,
it would spare the surviving spouse from having to scrounge
around for documents in a time of grief.
I update
it every so often. It’s very organized. I think everyone
should have something like this. I wish our parents
did.

Chapter 3: Health and Medical
Information
How
many times have you gone to the doctor’s office and struggled
at the questions asking about your family’s medical history?
It’s hard enough recalling your own medical history!
This
chapter outlines all of your important health and medical
information, including your health care advisors, current
medications, prior procedures, and medical history.
The
information presented in this chapter could be literally life-saving
for your family. Your family needs to know your medical history
so their doctors can be aware of possible risks they may face.
Chapter
3 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones includes worksheets
for you to complete your health and medical information, including:
- Allergies and drug
sensitivities
- Physicians and other
health care providers
- Past medical conditions
- Family medical history
- And more!
Gather
your health and medical information in one place. Make your
family aware of your medical history and you could be saving
them from medical problems down the road.
Chapter 4: Household Information
You
know what it’s like when your spouse has to go on a trip.
You’re left running the household by yourself. Most likely,
he or she left the important information for you in case of
an emergency, along with a “to do” list to make sure that
the house runs smoothly while they are away.
But, what if you didn’t
have that list to fall back on?
What if your spouse never came home?
Chapter
4 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones includes all the
day-to-day household information for you and your family.
This is the information about pets, household service providers,
utility companies and magazine and newspaper subscriptions,
etc.
This
is where all your “special instructions” are listed. Special
feeding instructions for your pet, when subscriptions need
to be paid, etc.
In
this chapter, you will be able to document the following:
- Pet information, including
breed, medical conditions, and special instructions
- Veterinarian contact
information
- Household service
provider contacts for: alarm, appliance repair, auto mechanic,
dry cleaner, electrician, hair salon, handyman, heating/cooling,
house cleaning, landscape service, plumber, pool maintenance,
rental property management, sprinkler company, trash removal,
window cleaner, and more.
- Utility company information
for cable, electric, gas, internet service, telephone, water,
etc.
- And more!
It’s
the little things that make a big difference. Your loved ones
will really appreciate the extra effort you made to help them
keep the household running after you pass away.
Chapter 5: Location of Important
Documents
You know the frustration of trying to remember a password or
where you hide the keys for the safe? Well, imagine your family
trying to figure out this information when you pass.
This chapter will help your family gather important items and
information immediately so they can manage your home and business
affairs.
Chapter 5 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones will help your
family easily locate the following information:
- Drivers license and
social security card
- All credit cards
- Banking, frequent
flier and other cards
- Investments
- Legal information
- Real estate information
- Business records
- Combinations and passwords
- Computer login and
passwords
- Safe deposit box information
- Keys
- And more!
When you complete this chapter, you are preventing your family
from frantically digging through drawers, files, and boxes
for this vital information.
Chapter 6: Financial Information
Sorting
through someone else’s financial information can be a real
challenge. By organizing and documenting this area of your
life, your family will know exactly how to manage your financial
affairs once you are gone.
Chapter
6 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones will help your
family uncover information concerning:
- Professional advisors
- Bank statements
- Business agreements
- Copyrights, licenses,
patents, royalties and trademarks
- A list of expenses
and periodic bills that you pay
- And more!
You’ve
worked hard throughout the years to build your finances...so
make it easy for your family to handle it and protect it when
you are gone!
Chapter 7: Insurance and Benefits
Information
Upon
your death, your family will need to contact your insurance
agents to cancel accounts or transfer ownership. There may
also be life insurance available to your family.
Chapter
7 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones will provide your
family with vital information for insurance and benefits such
as:
- Automobile
- Homeowner’s
- Umbrella
- Pension benefits
- Social security benefits
- And more!
With
insurance provider names, policy numbers, and contact information
in one convenient location, your family will have a much easier
time finding it, and taking the appropriate action.
Chapter 8: Estate Planning
This chapter will help your family know who to contact regarding
your estate planning documents. There is a section with instructions
for the executor of your estate, so there is no confusion
about where your material possessions should go.
This
chapter will also be valuable in the event of a medical emergency
and the possible need for an attorney-in-fact or patient advocate
to make certain medical decisions on your behalf.
Chapter
8 of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones will help your
family know critical information for:
- Estate planning attorney
- Attorney-in-fact (durable
power of attorney)
- Patient advocates
(living will and medical power of attorney)
- And more!
By
having documentation organized, these processes will be handled
with greater efficiency. And by making decisions now regarding
your possessions, your loved ones will avoid much of the conflict
that arises when these important decisions have not been made.
Organizing this Information Now Will Help Your
Family Later
Imagine
for a moment that you will pass away tomorrow. Now, I’m not
trying to sound morbid, but please just do this.
Your
family would be devastated. They would be mourning your loss.
They would be numb.
Now
imagine them trying to make funeral arrangements, trying to
figure out your personal and financial information, trying
to sort through your insurance files...trying to “make you
proud” while keeping the household running.
Do
you have all the information discussed thus far in order?
Where would they begin? How would they know who to contact?
How would they know what to do first?
How is your family supposed to grieve
when they are suffering emotional pain from your loss?
I
didn’t want to put that burden on my family. I took action
and got my life organized. Now, I’m saving you the months
and months of work trying to figure out what information needs
to be passed on to your family. I am saving you hundreds of
dollars that an attorney would charge you to pull together
the same information that I have already figured out.
That’s Why I Created

Peace Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones
Is
The Complete Guide to Organizing Your Estate
One
of the hardest parts about losing a loved one is worrying
about whether or not you have all the paperwork together.
You wonder if you’re forgetting anything important. And the
answer is usually “YES.”
During
the fragile time of losing a loved one, it is difficult to
think straight. How are you expected to think of everything?
That
is the benefit of Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones. Think of it as
a “Master To-Do List” a “Master Final Wishes List” and a “Master
Who-to-Contact-for Anything and Everything List” all in one.
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones is so much more
than a “contact list.” It is a thorough, detailed workbook
that keeps all your pertinent information organized and easy
to locate. It makes your final wishes known and protects your
family and assets.

"What Do Attorneys
And Professionals Say About Peace Of Mind For You And
Your Loved Ones?"
|
As an attorney, I have
spent a majority of my time over the last 18 years advising
clients on estate planning matters and then advising
clients’ surviving family members on the probate and
trust administration process after clients die. In the
process, I have had a chance to observe the difficulty
surviving spouses and children have with what seems
to be a very daunting task. In many cases the task seems
so daunting simply because of the emotional, and sometimes
physical, weakness of the family members as a result
of losing a spouse and/or parent. |
My training is in the law, and
I am not equipped to advise surviving family members
on the emotional aspects of recovering from their loss.
I know that the most important thing that I can do is
be supportive of the survivors as I guide them through
the legal issues and processes they face. Still, I have
often wished there was something more I could do to
help clients and their families prepare for the death
of a family member and cope with that loss once it happens.
Brian Bartes has been on the
other side in the case of several deaths in his family
and understands first hand how it feels to have to pick
up the pieces and struggle through the estate or trust
administration process. This book is exactly what every
person (or married couple) should use to save their
family hours of searching, wondering, stress and time,
all at time when they are least prepared for additional
uncertainty in their lives.

At Last! A Simple Tool To Make Preparing
Your Estate Easy as 1-2-3!
If
you’ve done any research on estate planning, you’ve probably
found yourself overwhelmed with countless details, intimidating
legal jargon, and an overload of confusing information.
No
wonder you haven’t made your arrangements yet!
But
estate planning can be made easy when you have a tool that
will walk you through all the information you need to collect
and plans you need to make.
When
estate planning is this easy, why wouldn’t you set aside some
time and set your family up—for a comfortable future?
If
you don’t, you could be another statistic of someone who loses
hundreds or thousands of dollars that could otherwise be given
to your family. This money that you worked so hard for can
be lost due to estate taxes, probate costs, and legal costs.
And
let me make myself clear. It’s not that people want to
become another statistic. No one wants to lose money.
But it does happen. It happens because of a lack of
knowledge of what needs to be done and how to get it done.
You’ll
be happy to know that you don’t have to be an estate planning,
financial, or legal expert to prepare your estate. All you
need to do is make the time.
If
you can do that, you and your family can be confident that
your assets will be protected!
Peace
Of Mind For You And Your Loved Ones is designed to
help anyone prepare their family for the future...no matter
how much or little you know about estate planning. You will
benefit from this tool:
- If you have a spouse and/or children. They will be able
to know exactly what your final wishes are and the details
to your estate.
- If you have parents. They may or may not
have made any preparations, but this will help you help
them plan their estate.
- If you have assets. In this workbook,
you can clearly define who you want to have what assets
so there is no confusion—and so they don’t go unclaimed—or
worse, to the government!
- If you are in the
estate planning business. This tool will help your clients know how to organize
their estate, while minimizing the confusion.
No
matter who you are, you will have peace of mind, knowing your
loved ones are taken care of.
